Meredith found a cool storm drain in the Old Cloverdale area that was a "hot bed" for tadpoles last month. Several of us took our kids out one hot Friday morning to see what we could catch. I used to LOVE to do this when I was a kid! I had forgotten how quick those little buggers can swim! Katelyn and the other kids had a great time! Luckily no one fell into the water and we all went home with a bowl full of "babies" to raise.

Of course we had to try for a group picture! This one didn't turn out so bad!

That is, before Anna Kathryn started to have a melt down when we tried to take away her pacifier! ;)

Unfortunately there will be no follow-up pictures of our tadpoles turning to frogs. Ours just didn't make it. We'll have to try again next year! ;)
